I relax and enjoy – a mindfulness practice for washing moments
Pamper yourself with a leisurely washing ritual, open your senses and enjoy. This moment is yours.
What: a gentle mindfulness practice for washing moments
Duration: about 5 minutes
How and when: in the shower or with face wash, any time of day
Why: refreshes the senses, increases the feeling of presence and body awareness, makes bathing a relaxing experience
Instructions
Wash with gentle Face & Body Ritual Soap, a soothing blend of lavender, rose and uplifting orange. Finish the ritual with a gentle, presence-enhancing press-dry with a soft Willow waffle towel.
Start the presence practice by wetting your skin. If you do it in the shower, let the warm water run over your skin for a moment, close your eyes, and breathe calmly, sensing the touch of the water. If you do the ritual while washing your face, bring warm water to your face a few times in time with calm breathing.

- Take the soap in your palms and inhale its relaxing scent.
- Feel the softness of the soap foam in your hands and gently massage it into your skin.
- Let your mind and body relax and continue the washing ritual with massaging movements, guided by calm breathing.
- Finally, rinse your skin and feel the soothing sensation of warm water.
- Afterwards, dry your skin with a soft waffle towel, applying gentle pressure.
- Finally, take a long breath in through your nose and out through your mouth, sighing.
- Thank yourself and let the feeling of unhurriedness continue with you into the next moment.
