Care instructions
Airing out as often as possible helps to keep the wool material clean. This way, the wool cleans itself. Gentle brushing of the surface removes lint and hair. Brushing should be done regularly. We recommend storing the sweater lightly shorn, and storing it in a cool, dry place. The sweater stretches easily when stored on a hanger, which is why it is not recommended. Remember to give the sweater a day of rest between uses so that the sweater can return to its original shape.
If necessary:
Small stains should be removed immediately, e.g. with bile soap; machine washing should be avoided. We recommend a gentle wool wash program and a detergent intended for wool when washing wool knitwear. It is recommended to wash the knitwear inside out, in lukewarm water, with knitwear of the same color. Flat drying and gentle styling are recommended for the knitwear. The knitwear should not be dried in direct sunlight or on a radiator.
Please note that:
Soft knitwear is characterized by pilling. The surface of a wool knit is delicate and soft, and the straps of a backpack or bag, for example, may wear the surface. Pilling should be removed by brushing with a cashmere comb, lint remover or blade, taking care not to damage the yarn. In addition to pilling, loops of yarn may appear in the knitwear, which are threaded onto the wrong side of the knitwear.
Dirty wool attracts moths. For long-term storage, we recommend a sealed bag or box to protect the knitwear from pests.
